RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND OTHER GROUPS

Our religious education programs encourage individuals of all ages to explore religious and ethical questions in a informal, semi-structured way, apply the Principles of our faith to our daily lives, develop friendships with fellow seekers, and learn from one another.

CHILDREN RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Our religious education program was created to support parents who are raising their children with an appreciation of liberal religious values.  For more information about this program, click here.

ADULT RELIGIOUS EDUCATION – BUILD YOUR OWN THEOLOGY GROUP

An adult religious education group meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. with the purpose of exploring various religious traditions and building their own theology.

THE WISDOM CIRCLE

A wisdom circle is a way for small groups of people to create a safe space within which to be trusting, authentic, caring.  It is about listening and speaking from the heart in a spirit of inquiry. The wisdom circle format has a sacred purpose:  it allows us to merge our efforts to bring Spirit into our lives.  A wisdom circle can become a place for separating from the ordinary, and for honoring each person's wisdom.

The Wisdom Circle has no religious affiliation.  Some of our participants belong to other churches or no churches at all.  It is not required to be a member or friend of the church in order to attend the Wisdom Circle.  Several of our members however have become acquainted with the UU's through attending the Wisdom Circle.

FREE RATIONALIST THINKERS

This group gathers also on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. to discuss/debate current events, politics, and philosophy
